Privacy policy

How GBMusicTech handles your information.

Effective date: September 4, 2026. Information about website visits, support messages, purchases, software licenses, and refunds.

Who is responsible

GBMusicTech is operated by Herbert Brown as Herbert Brown DBA GBMusicTech in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, USA. Privacy questions and requests can be directed to support@gbmusictech.com.

Website and support contact

This website does not currently include analytics, advertising pixels, newsletter signup, user accounts, or a web contact form.

When you email Support, GBMusicTech receives your email address, your message, and any attachments or other information you choose to include. We use customer email information for support, purchases, software licenses, and refunds—not promotional emails or newsletters.

Support emails are generally deleted after the matter is resolved. Messages may be retained longer when an issue is ongoing or recurring. There is no fixed deletion schedule. This describes our handling of support messages, not deletion of separate purchase or license records or copies retained by email providers and backups.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Purchases through Paddle

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout and payment information, such as your email address, billing location, and payment details. Paddle handles that information under its own Privacy Notice.

Paddle shares purchase and related event information with GBMusicTech so we can provide your license, send fulfillment messages, support your purchase, and process refunds. Our service stores purchase-event messages as well as customer, transaction, license, and refund records.

Licensing, downloads, and service records

Our application service provides software downloads and updates, handles license-related requests, and processes refund requests. Records may include your email address, license information, purchase references, request details, and processing status or history.

License-status and refund requests can send technical information such as a machine identifier or computer name, application version, and application or platform details. This information accompanies service requests; it is separate from any restriction on how many computers may use a license.

Service records and diagnostic logs may contain email addresses, license keys, request details, and processing results. Purchase-event messages and billing history are also stored by the service. These records support the existing purchase, licensing, refund, and troubleshooting workflow.

Deleting a support email does not delete separate purchase, license, refund, event, or diagnostic records. This policy does not specify a fixed deletion period for those records; their retention and backup handling remain to be confirmed.

Hosting, logs, cookies, and third parties

This website does not currently set optional analytics or marketing cookies. This is not a claim that Paddle checkout or hosting and security services use no cookies or logs.

Hostinger provides website and server hosting, and incoming mail for our domain is routed through Hostinger. Email and payment providers process information as part of delivering their services. Hosting and security systems may keep connection and service logs.

Backups can contain copies of service records. Removing information from an active mailbox or service does not necessarily remove an existing backup copy. Specific processing locations and log and backup retention periods are not stated in this policy because they have not been confirmed.

Privacy questions and requests

For questions about information held by GBMusicTech, or to request access, correction, or deletion, contact support@gbmusictech.com. The rights and exceptions that apply depend on applicable law.

Paddle handles requests concerning the information it holds separately. A request to Paddle does not automatically delete GBMusicTech's records, and a request to GBMusicTech does not automatically delete Paddle's records.

Contacting Support to request deletion does not itself automatically erase service records or backups. Any applicable legal requirements and exceptions must be considered when handling the request.
